New Town & Merz Tract Rezoning

Dear Residents of New Town,

On behalf of the Board of Governors for New Town at St. Charles® General Assembly, we are pleased to announce the proposed rezoning of the adjacent Merz tract.  The Board of Governors for New Town at St. Charles® General Assembly was recently approached by Homes by Whittaker’s attorney, SmithAmundsen LLC, to provide updates on recent zoning requests to the City of St. Charles Planning and Zoning Department.  As a result of the meeting, the Board of Governors requested additional information to distribute to residents.  Attached in the link below, is the updated information on the two zoning requests, and updated Master Plan.  Additionally, the package includes support from DPZ, the original New Town® planners, who were on-site and involved in the creation of the updated Master Plan, in order to ensure conformity to the current New Urbanism concepts of New Town®.
