Exciting Updates for the 2026 New Town Pool Season

Dear New Town Homeowners,

The 2026 pool season is almost here, and we have some exciting updates to share.

Thanks to your feedback, the General Assembly and the Board of Governors have been listening closely and working behind the scenes to improve the pool application process and guest pass system. This year brings several important changes, and we are happy to walk you through them in a clear and easy way.

What’s New for 2026

Pool Pass Applications Are Now Open

Yes, it is official. Pool pass applications are now active, and we are getting ready for another great season.

  • Pools open: May 23, 2026
  • Deadline to receive passes before opening day: May 8, 2026
  • Applications submitted after May 8 will be reviewed and approved in the order received.
  • As always, assessments must be paid in full to receive pool passes. No exceptions.

Major Changes to the Application Process

✅ Homeowner Only Access

To ensure proper access and security:

  • As always, homeowners can apply for pool memberships.
  • Tenants will no longer complete applications, and landlords will no longer submit permission forms.
  • Landlords now complete the entire application on behalf of their tenants. (Please be sure to review the Instructions)

✍️ Waiver Requirement

  • All applications must include a signed and uploaded waiver to receive pool passes.
  • While this may feel like an extra step, it is a key improvement that allows us to move toward automatic renewals in future years.

️ Guest Pass Updates

  • Guest passes may only be purchased by homeowners with an active pool membership for the current year.
  • When purchasing guest passes, homeowners must enter one of the following:
    • Pass Number
    • Barcode Number
    • Membership ID
  • Homeowners without an approved pool pass, as well as out-of-town individuals, will not be able to purchase guest passes, as they will not have an active New Town Pool membership.

Looking Ahead to 2027

Starting in 2027, any pool pass approved in 2026 with a signed waiver on file will be automatically renewed each year once assessments are paid, provided all other requirements are met.

We are not stopping there. More improvements are coming.
