Dear New Town Homeowners
To better serve our growing community and improve the efficiency of our operations, the Board of Governors and General Assembly staff have approved an adjustment to the General Assembly Office’s public hours.
Effective Monday, August 31, 2026, the General Assembly Office will observe the following public hours:
- Phone Calls & Walk-Ins: 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
General Assembly staff will continue to be in the office from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. each weekday. During this time, however, the office doors will remain locked, and staff will not be available to answer phone calls. These dedicated morning hours will allow staff uninterrupted time to focus on critical administrative responsibilities.
As our community continues to grow, so does the volume of work managed by the General Assembly Office. This change is intended to provide staff with dedicated time to:
- Respond to emails more promptly.
- Review homeowner requests in a more timely manner.
- Meet important deadlines.
- Increase overall productivity and efficiency.
Our goal is to provide better service to the community by ensuring we have dedicated time each day to complete essential behind-the-scenes work while continuing to offer responsive service during public office hours.
We understand that changes to office hours may require some adjustment, and we wanted to provide advance notice before the new schedule takes effect. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and support as we implement this change to better serve the community.
