We want to inform you that a water main break has occurred at the intersection of Canal Street and Marias Temp Clair, near the area of new construction. The City is actively working to shut down the affected water line, which will temporarily impact water service in the surrounding areas.
The City and the developers are working closely together to address the issue and restore service as quickly as possible. At this time, the General Assembly has not been provided with an exact timeline for the shutoff or the completion of repairs, but we will continue to share updates as they become available.
To assist in the repair efforts, we kindly ask all residents to avoid walking or driving through the affected area so that emergency personnel and work crews can safely and efficiently access the site.
