Below is a statement from the St. Charles Department of Public Works regarding bridge repairs that will happen this week in New Town.
The Department of Public Works will be closing various lanes of the New Town North and South bridges starting
Wednesday august 11th through Friday August 13th to perform maintenance on the brick decks.
Message boards are in place informing the public of this as well.
We do not anticipate keeping the bridges closed overnight. We plan of opening them at the end of each work day.
