With current winter conditions, many of the lakes will soon be or have already transitioned to a frozen state. Please be aware that what appears to be a frozen lake could quickly become thin and/or unstable ice. As a result of these extremely hazardous conditions, the General Assembly strongly discourages any winter activities on the lakes at this time.
